Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or large facility preferred
  • good communication skills in English
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work hands-on with cleaning staff
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
  • current or ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or healthcare setting preferred
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • knowledge of hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • strong leadership and safety skills
  • experience with commercial cleaning equipment is beneficial
  • current or willingness to obtain CPR certification

Job Duties

  • supervise housekeeping and janitorial staff while working alongside them
  • orient new EVS department employees
  • create and maintain departmental work schedules
  • ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of the facility
  • stay updated on safety data sheets and training requirements
  • handle and train staff on cleaning chemicals and equipment
