Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in ramp operations or a related field
  • ability to work flexible hours including swing or overnight shifts
  • valid driver s license
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • knowledge of OSHA FAA and TSA safety regulations
  • capability to conduct safety inspections and training
  • proficiency in managing schedules and team performance
  • physical ability to work in fast-paced ramp environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in ramp operations or a related field
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • in-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • valid driver s license and ability to operate ground service equipment

Job Duties

  • Oversees daily ramp operations including loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies
  • manages ramp personnel including scheduling training and performance management
  • ensures compliance with all safety regulations including OSHA FAA and TSA guidelines
  • conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions
  • coordinates with flight operations and catering teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of aircraft
  • monitors and optimizes ramp efficiency including equipment utilization and workflow
  • resolves operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner
  • maintains accurate records and reports on ramp activities and performance metrics
  • collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • guides motivates and develops staff within the human resources policies
  • makes the company s values and management principles live in the department
  • manages productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility initiates and steers corrective actions in case of deviations
  • participates and supports company sponsored initiatives such as quality HACCP lean manufacturing employee safety and production systems
