Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in ramp operations or related field
  • strong leadership skills
  • knowledge of OSHA, FAA, and TSA safety regulations
  • ability to conduct safety inspections and training
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to coordinate with multiple teams
  • capacity to work swing or overnight shifts
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate ground service equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in ramp operations or related field
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • in-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • valid driver’s license and ability to operate ground service equipment

Job Duties

  • Oversees daily ramp operations, including loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies
  • manages ramp personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • ensures compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, FAA, and TSA guidelines
  • conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions
  • coordinates with flight operations and catering teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of aircraft
  • monitors and optimizes ramp efficiency, including equipment utilization and workflow
  • resolves operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner
  • maintains accurate records and reports on ramp activities and performance metrics
  • collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • guides, motivates and develops staff within the Human Resources policies
  • makes the companys values and management principles live in the departments
  • manages productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility and initiates and steers corrective actions in case of deviations
  • participates and supports company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems
