Job Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of supervisory experience in high volume food production manufacturing restaurant or catering environment or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with all employee levels
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback daily
  • Knowledge of OSHA GMP FDA USDA and EPA regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Job Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of supervisory experience in high volume food production manufacturing restaurant or catering environment or equivalent
  • Strong and effective leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a staff of 20 plus hourly employees
  • Comfortable working in refrigerated environments
  • Ability to provide both positive and negative feedback daily
  • Working knowledge of OSHA GMP FDA USDA and EPA regulations
  • Excellent verbal written and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

Job Duties

  • Ensure area of responsibility is properly organized staffed and directed and all delivery times are met timely
  • Conduct daily work group meetings
  • Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity and overtime targets
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards such as FDA USDA OSHA EPA DOT and HACCP
  • Document and follow up on all department processes to implement improvements
  • Ensure on-time and accurate production and catering of all flights
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Guide motivate and develop staff within human resources policies
  • Make the company's values and management principles live in the department
  • Manage productivity hours and costs
  • Initiate and steer corrective actions as needed
  • Participate and support company initiatives such as Quality HACCP Lean Manufacturing Employee Safety and Production systems
