Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food production or cold food operations preferred
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
- working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, EPA regulations, and HACCP principles
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Oversee daily cold food production activities, ensuring proper organization, staffing, and adherence to delivery timelines
- conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals, safety reminders, and production priorities
- schedule and manage staff to meet labor productivity and minimize overtime while maintaining quality standards
- ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and company-specific food safety protocols
- monitor temperature controls and storage conditions to maintain product freshness and prevent contamination
- document and review department processes to identify and implement continuous improvements
- guarantee on-time and accurate assembly of cold food items for catering and flight services
- enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and hygiene practices in cold food handling areas
- perform other duties as assigned to support operational excellence
- inspire, coach, and develop team members within company policies and procedures
- promote company values and management principles within the department
- monitor productivity and cost metrics
- take corrective action when deviations occur
- champion company initiatives such as Quality Assurance, HACCP compliance, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and continuous improvement programs
