Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- prior leadership experience
- proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- eligibility and ability to qualify as a Flight Attendant and retain Check Flight Attendant qualification on all aircraft types
- excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- strong oral and written communication skills
- fluency in English
- legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- previous leadership experience
- knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- must be able to qualify as a Flight Attendant and maintain Check Flight Attendant qualification on all aircraft types
- excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- above average oral and written communication skills
- ability to speak, read, and write in English
- authorized to work in the U.S.
- previous aviation experience preferred
- previous supervisory or managerial experience in a union environment preferred
Job Duties
- Model PSA's core values by being an approachable and visible leader who fosters trust and respect with their team
- address and improve employee performance in customer service, safety, appearance, conduct, dependability, and attendance through recognition, coaching, and corrective actions
- promote health, wellness, and safe work practices
- act as a liaison between Inflight, other departments, and Station Personnel
- provide inflight assistance and support for inbound and outbound flights including handling of Flight Attendant injuries and aircraft emergencies
- respond quickly and effectively to unplanned events including crew conflict and emergencies
- provide feedback to Inflight Services Base Managers regarding employee performance and attendance
- track and follow up on delays coded to Inflight to improve key performance indicators
- conduct daily concourse audits to meet crew, provide recognition, ensure tablet compliance, and support station and crew operational needs
- act as liaison between Inflight Operations and Inflight Standards and Training groups to implement best practices
- manage Company's Security and Safety Management System including Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
- perform other assigned duties
