Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work experience in the food service industry including two years in supervisory or management role
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Clean annual DMV report
  • Must be twenty one years of age or older
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand 95 percent of the time
  • Ability to bend, climb, walk, and lift
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime due to operational needs
  • Ability to pass Smith’s Driving Training Course

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work experience in the food service industry
  • Two years of supervisory or management experience
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Ability to complete and pass Smith’s Driving Training Course
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Social perceptiveness to assess reactions and behaviors
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Utilize appropriate methods for working with individuals with intellectual and or physical disabilities
  • Schedule and designate shift and area work assignments in accordance with precedence
  • Ensure proper documentation is complete including I.D notes and incident reports
  • Perform daily and monthly quality assurance inspections and reports and assist in orientation of new team members to ensure training and compliance with contract requirements
  • Operate the Point of Sale register when needed and perform basic currency handling and verification of safe deposits
  • Ensure changes to scope of work, methods, materials, or environment impacting standards are addressed immediately and standards reviewed and revised
  • Submit supply orders and maintain inventory control
  • Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment immediately as mandated by state law
  • Adhere to Opportunity Village's established policies and procedures
  • Accept and apply performance-based feedback
  • May be assigned other duties as needed
