Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • prior leadership experience required
  • one year experience as assigned line instructor flight attendant preferred
  • professional experience in teaching, training or adult education preferred
  • one year experience in far 121 programs preferred
  • knowledge of faa regulations
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • strong instructional and communication skills
  • proficiency with ms office suite
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
  • authorized to work in the united states

Job Duties

  • oversee the daily operation of the denver or orlando inflight training center
  • manage on-location situations including student dismissals, behavioral issues, and vendor interactions
  • act as a decision maker and communicator to inflight training management
  • conduct faa and dot recurrent and requalification training
  • ensure compliance with faa regulations related to flight attendant training
  • oversee flight attendant trainees during initial training including performance assessment and counseling
  • supervise, schedule, and support line trainers
  • maintain qualification as frontier airlines flight attendant
  • oversee contract trainers during training periods
  • assist with writing and revising the flight attendant manual
  • support special projects and committees
  • provide feedback on training participant activities
  • maintain records of training activities
  • act as main contact from remote training center to general office
  • monitor and coordinate correspondence with the faa
  • coordinate completion of forms related to flight attendant training
  • respond to flight attendant inquiries
  • plan and prepare for training sessions
  • collaborate with other training departments
  • support other trainers and department manager
  • perform other assigned duties
