As an established service provider, WSC maintains rigorous standards to ensure all contractual obligations are thoroughly met or exceeded, particularly under the Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Statement of Work (SOW) agreements. WSC prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and a safe working environment for its employees. This dedication to quality and mission support underscores the company's reputation as a leader in its industry, combining experience, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The role of the Supervisor I at Sheppard Air Force Base Dining Hall is a full-time, operational facility-based position with a competitive hourly rate of $18.90. Additionally, this position involves managing staff schedules, facilitating training related to policy adherence including union agreements, and taking corrective actions to promote safety and operational effectiveness.

Beyond operational oversight, the Supervisor I is charged with maintaining sufficient facility supplies, managing storage areas, and fostering an environment that prioritizes the highest standard of customer service. Accurate and timely completion of reports and correspondence associated with the facility's operations is also an essential function. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills, effective stress management, personal integrity, and a results-driven attitude. The supervisor position includes supervisory responsibilities such as employee performance management and disciplinary actions when necessary.

Working conditions for this role include exposure to extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and high noise levels, requiring a physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move substantial weights up to 50 pounds. The position requires occasional evening or weekend work and involves occasional local travel with potential overnight trips for conferences. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for candidates holding an associate degree in Business Management. A valid driver’s license with insurability, successful drug and background screenings specific to the contract are mandatory.
