- associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- minimum one year of leadership experience required
- knowledge of computers and appropriate software programs required
- working knowledge of applicable regulations, laws and techniques required
- ability to read, write and understand English
- good interpersonal relations skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks
- ability to work with others in a diplomatic and tactful manner

Job Qualifications

- three to five years health care related experience preferred

Job Duties
- oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations
- manage and evaluate employee performance
- solve departmental problems using discretionary judgment
- ensure compliance with regulations, laws, techniques and procedures
- train and mentor housekeeping staff
- ensure hospital areas are clean, healthy and welcoming
- maintain high standards of cleanliness to support patient safety
