Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- minimum one year of hotel experience as Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor or customer service-related field
- experience in luxury hotel or resort preferred
- one year of supervisory experience preferred
- strong English oral and written communication skills
- intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong organizational and mathematical skills
- ability to protect confidential information
- must maintain composure under pressure
- may require gaming license
- ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to perform physical activities such as balancing, stooping, kneeling and reaching
- mobility sufficient for office and event environments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related industry
- minimum one year of hotel experience as Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor or a customer service-related field
- experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred
- minimum one year of supervisory experience leading and coaching others preferred
- strong English skills both oral and written
- intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong customer service, problem solving and communication skills
- ability to maintain composure in demanding settings
Job Duties
- Supervises the operation of Front Desk and provides support to Team Members as needed
- monitors daily performance of Front Desk Team Members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely
- oversees Hotel Front Desk processes including cash handling and credit card transactions
- assists in training and communicating with team members on new processes and guest services
- leads team members to resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- compiles and reviews daily reports, audits and logs to measure quality of operation and escalate matters
- collaborates with all department leaders to ensure personalized guest experiences
- adheres to health and safety policies and reports maintenance issues
- carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining employees
