Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a fast-paced environment
- Strong management skills with experience in supervising staff in a food service or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with dietary department operations and catering services is a plus
- Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Background in banquet experience or barista/coffee service is advantageous
- Culinary experience is preferred, along with a passion for the food industry
Job Duties
- Supervise daily operations in the food service area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage food production processes, including cooking, preparation, and presentation of meals
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Train and mentor staff in food handling techniques, customer service, and kitchen management practices
- Coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed
