Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • ability to coordinate routine responsibilities of staff with available resources

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Understands and enforces all policies and procedures
  • understands diet orders in relation to policies and residents rights
  • performs day-to-day assignments alongside oversight duties
  • monitors employee productivity and provides direction for increased service or productivity
  • oversees daily activities of food service staff and assigns responsibilities
  • holds subordinates accountable for expectations
  • responsible for orientation and training of new employees
  • meets with customers to ensure satisfaction with food quality and service
  • attends all meetings and trainings by Sodexo management and Springmoor
  • promotes development of the food service team
  • assists in maintaining a safe working environment
  • complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures
  • complies with all state regulations
  • reports accidents and injuries promptly
  • complies with company safety and risk management policies
  • performs other duties as needed within the dining department
