Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years food service experience
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience
- Serv-Safe certification
- Ability to perform moderate physical labor such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- Must be self-motivated and flexible
- Ability to read speak and write English
- Patience and understanding when dealing with residents and employees
- Professional appearance and attitude

Job Duties
- Understands follows and enforces all policies and procedures
- Understands diet orders in regard to Springmoor’s policies and resident’s rights
- Performs day-to-day assignments in addition to oversight duties
- Monitors employee productivity and provides directions for increased service or productivity
- Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management
- Hold subordinates accountable for set expectations
- Responsible for orientation and training of new employees
- Meets with customers to ensure satisfaction in food quality and service
- Attends all meetings and trainings provided by Sodexo management and Springmoor
- Promotes the development of the food service team
- Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures
- Complies with all state regulations
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- May perform other duties and responsibilities wherever needed within the dining service department
