Job Requirements
- Two years of experience in foodservice
- One year of hospital nutrition experience
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to supervise and lead staff
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare staff and patients
- Knowledge of infection control standards

- Experience in menu planning and dietary requirements in a healthcare setting
Job Duties
- Directs storeroom clerk, cooks, and other Food and Nutrition Services team members
- Provides for the operational needs of storeroom clerks and cooks
- Collaborates in implementing and sustaining infection control practices
- Maintains communication with patients, staff, and customers regarding service levels
- Maintains adequate staffing reflecting cost efficiency
- Assists with recruiting, hiring, and managing staff performance
- Assigns staff and workload respecting changing daily priorities
- Collaborates in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services
