Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- three years of food and nutrition service experience
- two years of supervisory experience in nutrition and food service
- knowledge of food trends emphasizing quality, sanitation, and food cost controls
- experience with therapeutic diet preparation
- strong leadership, management and mentoring skills
- knowledge of applicable health and safety standards
- effective written and verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- associate or college degree in nutrition, food service management or related field preferred
- bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food service management or related field preferred
- certified dietary manager (CDM) preferred
- three years of food and nutrition service experience required
- two years of supervisory experience in nutrition and food service
- knowledge of food trends focusing on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- experience with therapeutic diet preparation
- strong leadership and management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Plan and lead all aspects of food service operations
- supervise food production and service
- ensure food served is nutritious and appealing
- supervise and mentor food service staff
- review and update policies and procedures
- implement and maintain quality and cost control procedures
- maintain professional proficiency and skills required for professional practice
