Job Requirements
- Three years of food service management experience
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Current Food Worker Card
- Ability to work in a dynamic and complex healthcare environment
- Strong leadership and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

- Experience in a health-care environment preferred
- Clinical Dietitian Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee all operations and administrative needs of the cafeteria/food service department
- Prepare work schedules and ensure time sheets are accurate
- Perform employee performance evaluations and initiate disciplinary actions as needed
- Maintain records including food production, inventory, budget expenses, meal counts and personnel records
- Ensure employees adhere to safety and sanitation standards according to Department of Health and Human Services and Joint Commission regulations
- Develop weekly menus and create new recipe ideas and products to maximize patient and customer satisfaction
- Plan menu and assist with setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup for large catering events
- Attend and contribute to departmental and hospital meetings
- Complete daily cash reconciliation and submit it to the business office
- Lead performance improvement initiatives to ensure quality and safety of patient care
- Ensure all department policies and procedures are current
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and Health Department standards
