Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years clinical nutrition supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food service, food preparation services, and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Supervise the work activities of food service employees engaged in food preparation for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Maintain quality control by testing food for temperature, taste, proper portioning, and appearance
  • Schedule employees within budgeted labor hours
  • Ensure compliance with food service sanitation procedures and safety standards
  • Prepare simple reports such as incident and attendance reports
  • Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Provide clear directions and respond appropriately to employee needs
