Job Requirements
- Two years experience in a hospital, major food service establishment, catering service or experience in storeroom/purchasing
- Must have valid driver’s license (Northside Gwinnett Storeroom only)
- Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of cafeteria operations
- Ability to maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Ability to supervise and direct food service operations and personnel
- Working knowledge of personal computer applications including Office and Excel
Job Qualifications
- Certification by Dietary Manager's Association
- Previous experience in health care
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, major food service establishment or catering service
- Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of cafeteria operations
- Working knowledge of personal computer applications including Office and Excel
Job Duties
- Supervise and lead department functions including serving and delivering meals
- Plan menus according to dietary and nutrition standards
- Oversee food preparation ensuring quality and safety
- Maintain sanitation standards in all food service areas
- Keep accurate records related to food service operations
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Supervise and direct food service personnel
