Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in food service
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, and procurement
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Five years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and food service policies
- Knowledge of food values, nutrition, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Knowledge of menu planning and volume food management principles
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform job functions
Job Duties
- Ensure high standards of quality and sanitation compliance
- Participate with management in menu planning, recipe adjustments, and food preparation
- Supervise and participate in food service activities including preparation, distribution, and record maintenance
- Maintain accurate payroll reporting and production records
- Plan, assign, and review work schedules and staff performance
- Address personnel issues, provide training, and support staff development
- Manage budget, inventory, and procurement processes effectively
