Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in food service
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, and procurement
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Five years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and food service policies
  • Knowledge of food values, nutrition, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Knowledge of menu planning and volume food management principles
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform job functions

Job Duties

  • Ensure high standards of quality and sanitation compliance
  • Participate with management in menu planning, recipe adjustments, and food preparation
  • Supervise and participate in food service activities including preparation, distribution, and record maintenance
  • Maintain accurate payroll reporting and production records
  • Plan, assign, and review work schedules and staff performance
  • Address personnel issues, provide training, and support staff development
  • Manage budget, inventory, and procurement processes effectively
