Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 4 years experience in food industry operations required
- Current and valid ANSI-accredited Food Handlers Certificate required
- Ability to forecast food needs and manage expenses
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain schedules and conduct training sessions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Associate's degree in food service, culinary arts, or related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years experience in food industry operations
- Minimum 2 years experience in a food industry leadership role preferred
- Knowledge of menu design, costing, inventory control, and HACCP principles
- Strong leadership, coaching, and counseling skills
- Current and valid ANSI-accredited Food Handlers Certificate
- Culinary certificate within 2 years preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise daily food service operations including preparation, cooking, serving, portioning, distribution, and sales
- Train, hire, and manage front line food service staff
- Conduct employee performance management including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
- Participate in menu planning, production, and quality assurance activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Oversee cost control for food and supply purchases using forecasting and budget adherence
- Maintain scheduling, monitor time worked, and manage personnel actions
