Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in management, food and nutrition, culinary arts or related degree required
- basic understanding of large volume cooking desired
- management experience required
- basic knowledge of nutrition
- demonstrates good oral and written communication skills
- basic computer skills with Windows and keyboard knowledge or willingness to learn
- ServSafe Certification within six months of hire

Job Duties
- Oversees patient care area of department
- ensures patient meals are accurately assembled and delivered
- works with production on monitoring quality of food for patient tray line and short order cooking throughout meal service
- responsible for ensuring that daily supplies for other departments are assembled and delivered
- responsible for monitoring and assisting production and cafeteria/special functions in the absence of those supervisors
