Job Requirements
- Two years of experience in foodservice or one year of hospital nutrition experience
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must obtain Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager credential within 24 months
- Must hold ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification upon hire
- Must obtain ServSafe Allergen (ServSafe Gen) certification within 60 days
- Must secure Food Handler Permit (FHP) within 30 days if working in Nevada Clark County

Job Duties
- Directs storeroom clerk, cooks and other Food and Nutrition Services team members
- Provides for the operational needs of these positions
- Collaborates in implementing and sustaining infection control practices
- Maintains communication with patients, staff, and customers regarding service levels
- Relays service feedback to management and staff
- Maintains adequate staffing reflecting cost efficiency
- Assists with recruiting, hiring and managing staff performance
- Assigns staff and workload respecting daily operational priorities
- Collaborates in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services
- Actively works as a supervisor within the food service
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
