Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of food service management experience preferred
- Food Safety Manager Certificate obtained within 30 days of employment
- Ability to stand and walk for 50 percent of the work time
- Able to work 12-hour shifts
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Pass all relevant health and safety regulations
- Able to supervise diverse foodservice teams
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety manager certificate obtained within 30 days of employment
- At least 3 years of food service management experience preferred especially in high volume restaurant, hospital, hotel, or room service environments
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and attend to detail
- Basic computer and technological proficiency
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Supervise foodservice staff including food service workers, room service ambassadors, tube-feeding technicians, team leaders, chefs, and cooks
- Train, develop, coach, and counsel foodservice staff to enhance performance
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure safety, sanitation, and quality of meal delivery
- Oversee efficient and timely delivery of meals to patients and customers
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and obtain required certifications
- Collaborate with department management to support operational goals
