- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or dietary department
- understanding of safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Ensure daily operation of the Food and Nutrition Department including Main Kitchen, Room Service, Catering, Receiving, and Retail Outlet
- complete opening and closing checklist per department regulations
- conduct audits to evaluate food items, portion controls, temperature logs, meal rounds, test trays, Host/Hostess audits, and PI data
- assist in maintenance of financial records
- maintain appearance and merchandising of retail areas
- ensure safety and sanitation standards compliance
- check equipment and order repairs/maintenance
- supervise sanitation and special cleaning projects
- conduct monthly sanitation and safety inspection reports
- assist with training of new employees
- participate and contribute to department meetings, in-service and safety classes
- promote teamwork and positive professional attitude among staff
