Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in food service for retail and patient services
  • experience in hospitality and supervisory roles
  • ability to work full-time on rotating shifts including weekdays weekends and holidays
  • willingness to work on-site and live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian

  • bachelor's degree in nutrition dietetics food service management or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in food service for retail and patient services
  • proven supervisory and hospitality-related experience
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • ability to analyze operations and implement improvements

Job Duties

  • plan direct and oversee food service operations
  • assist in menu development and establish standards for food purchasing storage and preparation
  • analyze departmental operations and evaluate quality of services
  • develop and implement job routines and procedures to increase efficiency and customer service
  • identify and address cost saving opportunities improve productivity and service quality
  • supervise food service staff and coordinate scheduling
  • ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
