Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo Slot license
- Three years of tax returns required
- Experience in food and beverage management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Knowledge of casino gaming operations and compliance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in noisy, variable temperature, and wet environments
Job Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience managing personnel in food and beverage industry
- Four-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards
- Understanding of business management including strategic planning and resource allocation
- Awareness of gaming laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey information effectively
- Problem-solving skills using logic and reasoning
- Ability to monitor and improve individual and organizational performance
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all guests
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial information and company policies
- Develop staff through interviews, hiring, and evaluations
- Ensure safety and security of employees and customers
- Review marketing activities and promotions with managers
- Monitor staffing levels and delegate responsibilities
- Meet with departmental managers as needed
- Supervise all shift activities with hands-on leadership
- Assign work schedules to staff and monitor completion
- Monitor cleanliness and appearance of restaurants
- Assist with budget oversight and expense management
- Administer disciplinary action as necessary
- Produce and deliver operational reports
- Make sound business decisions using training and policies
- Recommend improvements for productivity and processes
- Adhere to regulatory and company policies ethically
- Maintain knowledge of casino events and promotions
- Ensure safety and security of all guests and team members
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Ensure operating principles are adhered to—clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment
- Utilize tools and technology including MICROS systems and casino software
- Obtain and maintain necessary gaming licenses
- Comply with age and tax return requirements for licensure
