Job Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations
- minimum age of 18
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- must pass a pre-employment background check
- three years’ experience in warehouse, inventory or food handling preferred
- supervisory experience in kitchen or business environment
- proficiency with computer business applications and POS systems
- ability to organize and prioritize work
- ability to lift regularly 15-30lbs and frequently up to 70lbs
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- ability to work independently
- ability to stand or walk for minimum 8 hours per day
- ability to support company policies and health and safety standards
- eligibility to reside in company housing where available
Job Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in positions involving warehouse, inventory or food handling preferred
- supervisory experience in a kitchen or business environment
- proficiency in the use of computer business applications including POS systems
- ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain attention to time constraints while working in a team environment
- ability to lift 15-30lbs regularly and up to 70lbs frequently
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day
- ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and safety standards
- current or ability to obtain Alaska Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification
Job Duties
- Work alongside ground crew to supervise, motivate and complete tasks
- ensure rail cars and ground stations are properly cleaned, inventoried, organized and stocked with appropriate products
- coordinate with management to complete task lists and verify stock levels for each passenger carload
- facilitate checkout process of onboard kitchen staff and equipment daily upon arrival in Denali
- assign nightly duties to all ground team members
- complete daily cooler and freezer inspections and ensure all logs and forms are collected and filed correctly
- assist in end of month inventory duties and other duties as assigned
