Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years required to serve alcohol in the State of Alaska
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in use of computer business applications
  • Working knowledge of computerized point of sales systems
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Alaska Food Handlers Card
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid alcohol safety card for the State of Alaska
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while working in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and health and safety standards
  • Ability to stand, walk and work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day

Job Duties

  • Supervises food and beverage staff and the activities of the food and beverage operations and services
  • Monitors and tracks sales and recommends strategies to achieve sales and performance goals
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations
  • Ensure all venues are always presentable and ready for service
  • Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines
  • Provide coaching and guidance to seasonal FOH F&B team
  • Regular checks of cashiers paperwork, deposits, tips and correct closeouts of the POS system
  • Hold pre-shift meetings with all FOH team members
  • Partners with F&B leadership team to uphold safety, service and company expectations
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation guidelines
  • Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance
