Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three to five years of progressive food and beverage experience preferred
  • ability to train and lead team members
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • strong and accurate money handling skills
  • ability to work under stress in fast-paced environment
  • digital literacy in relevant computer programs
  • must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification
  • must obtain and maintain valid racing license
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capable of working in variable environments with noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke

Job Duties

  • Provides guest service training and departmental orientation for new Team Members
  • works with manager to provide on-going training for all Team Members
  • monitors day-to-day activities of the department as per company policies
  • reviews work activities of subordinate Team Members to ensure adherence to management standards
  • assists manager in evaluating staffing levels and working conditions to enhance guest service and profitability
  • coordinates with food and beverage supervisors and managers on work schedules, ordering, and par levels
  • delegates duties to personnel based on operational needs to ensure adequate coverage
  • oversees side work responsibilities and opening and closing duties
  • ensures dining room is set up and ready for service
  • assists with set-up and breakdown for private events
  • acts as liaison with external agencies or company leadership as needed
  • performs other related duties as assigned
