Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Five years technical experience preferred
  • SERV Safe certification or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Technical experience in food service operations preferred
  • SERV Safe certification or equivalent preferred
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition and therapeutic diets
  • Experience in inventory control and food cost monitoring

Job Duties

  • Develop menus and prepare food for department cafeteria and catered events
  • Supervise cooking staff and oversee daily food production
  • Monitor food cost, inventory, and purchasing of supplies
  • Ensure compliance with menus, portion control, and nutrient preservation
  • Train, assist, and assess food service personnel
  • Standardize recipes and participate in menu development
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
