Job Requirements

  • Must be a resident of the State of Florida
  • Must not have been interviewed for the same role at JAX within the last 12 months and not selected
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
  • No sponsorship for current or future work authorization
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge
  • Must comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing program
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company standards
  • Must comply with Company attendance standards
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform duties in outdoor and inclement weather conditions
  • Ability to use computers and office software with sufficient speed and accuracy
  • Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently
  • Ability to perform work duties in limited space for extended periods
  • Ability to obtain Ground Security Coordinator qualification
  • May be required to obtain Customs Seal for international flights as directed

Job Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge in Airlines Operation Management
  • Experience in customer service
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA (Secured Identification Display Area) badge and meet local airport requirements
  • Ability to obtain Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) qualification
  • Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing program
  • Ability to obtain Customs Seal if required by Station Leadership
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in administrative and clerical procedures
  • Ability to multitask and handle operational challenges

Job Duties

  • Guide and lead team members using talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage employees
  • Adhere to Company values and competencies to foster a culture of inclusion, recognition, and support of a safe work environment
  • Invest in leadership and self-growth through continuous learning and development
  • Coordinate with all Departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, Employee morale, and Customer satisfaction
  • Respond to and resolve Customer questions, requests, or complaints
  • Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and legally compliant service-conscious environment
  • Assign and track Agents for training compliance
  • Coordinate actively with all Departments to maintain the Station's on-time performance and report status updates to leaders and employees
  • Drive performance processes by forecasting operational situations, monitoring and achieving results against key metrics, and holding responsible parties accountable
  • Review and ensure accurate delay coding
  • Work with staff planning to build bids that align with hourly goals
  • Perform daily administrative duties including building shift bids, closing bids, daily work assignments, daily payroll, and attendance reports
  • Assure proper administration of labor contracts or agreements with minimal disputes
  • Perform other duties as directed by Leadership
