Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions
  • completion of sanitation course required before or within the first year
  • capability to perform basic math calculations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle stress and maintain emotional control
  • availability to work nights and weekends as required
  • must be authorized to work in the country of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
  • knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production to ensure the safety and quality of food
  • ensure food items are stored safely and organized
  • maintain all serving schedules according to menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as needed
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend replacement of equipment
  • demonstrate proficiency in multi-tasking
  • perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage daily catering events
  • work occasional night and weekend events
  • attend food service meetings
  • maintain communication with staff
  • perform cashier duties when needed
  • promote good public relations
