Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school
- 36 months experience in food services including 12 months in a supervisory role
- working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office
- demonstrated oral written communication skills in English
- ability to work independently and as a team member
- ability to follow lesson plans and speak in front of groups
- excellent leadership skills
- ServSafe Certification
- sanitation certification may be required
- physical endurance for fast-paced and demanding duties
- ability to handle greasy dirty materials and walk on slippery floors
- ability to lift up to 58 lbs and push pull up to 100 lbs
- ability to stand walk for long periods and climb stairs
- adaptability to kitchen environments from 8 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit
- availability to work nights weekends and university closings
- compliance with background and police records checks
Job Qualifications

- determining work priorities and planning schedules
- assigning and reviewing work
- maintaining a successful shift through problem solving
- preparing food following recipes and portion control standards
- utilizing kitchen utensils and heavy equipment safely
- serving food courteously with proper portion control
- loading and transporting food items safely and timely
- washing sanitizing and storing kitchen tools and equipment
- cleaning tables counters floors and work areas
- assisting with special events and catering needs
- supporting team members voluntarily as needed
