Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of supervisory or front-of-the-house experience in food and beverage
  • prior full-service restaurant experience required
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • state or local law certification for alcohol awareness and proper food handling as required
  • willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • general food and beverage knowledge with at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations or supervisory experience in a hotel or resort setting preferred
  • prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant required
  • must be able to communicate read write and speak English effectively
  • bi-lingual skills preferred but not required
  • knowledge of alcohol awareness and food handling certification preferred

Job Duties

  • support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager and F&B Director and understand all policies procedures standards specifications guidelines and training programs for food and beverage outlets within the Resort
  • fill in where needed as associate to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily
  • continually strive to develop coach and train staff in all areas of professional development
  • ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and preventive maintenance
  • enforce policies and procedures with restaurant associates
  • provide leadership support teamwork and foster a positive work environment
  • complete necessary administrative tasks related to the restaurant operations
