Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in front-of-the-house operations or supervisory roles in food and beverage
- Prior experience in a full-service restaurant
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Compliance with local or state certification requirements, including alcohol awareness and food handling if applicable
- Availability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position
- Commitment to uphold the company standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred
- Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively
- Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required
- Completion of alcohol awareness/safety class may be required by state or local law
- State-certified proper food handling certification may be required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
Job Duties
- Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort, communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates
- Fill in where needed as associate to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily
- Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
- Complete all necessary administrative duties related to supervision and operations
- Foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates
- Embody the company Promise to Lead with Love in all leadership actions and guest interactions
