- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of culinary training
- Three years of culinary experience including leadership responsibilities
- ServSafe Manager Food Protection Certification
- Culinary Certificate
- Active California driver's license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and team development abilities
- Knowledge of computer word processing and spreadsheets
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate operational systems for Food and Nutrition Services including menu planning and food ordering
- Oversee patient meal service, cafeteria, and catering operations
- Manage hot and cold food production and emergency meal preparation
- Supervise purchasing, inventory management, and control
- Ensure adherence to marketing and meal presentation standards
- Develop recipes and implement menus meeting sanitation, nutrition, and financial parameters
- Maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
