Job Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in aviation or business-related field preferred
- Prior aviation, warehouse, cargo, or ramp experience preferred
- Familiarity with unit load devices a plus
- Knowledge of IATA and ICAO regulations preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to pass airport security background check
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Lead and support a team of cargo handlers, setting the standard for professionalism and service excellence
- Coordinate scheduled operations, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve challenges in real time
- Collaborate closely with leadership to respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, escalating issues as needed
- Monitor performance of ground handling team members
- Meet, greet, and welcome passengers and flight crews on the aircraft parking ramp
- Operate heavy equipment such as belt loaders, k-loaders, deice trucks
- Build, load, and secure LD7 and other unit load device containers according to airline load plans
- Stage, sort, and label cargo for build-up or break-down activities
- Ensure cargo security and conduct dangerous goods and hazardous material checks
- Verify airway bills, manifests, and cargo documentation for accuracy
- Marshal aircraft in and out of position
- Follow TSA, FAA, IS-BAH, DOT, and OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Escort customer vehicles on and off the airfield when necessary
- Support flight crews with service needs including baggage and transportation assistance
- Direct flight crews to terminal for fuel or service orders
- Assist flight crews with departure preparation and follow up to ensure completed service orders
- Load and offload luggage from baggage carts, vehicles, and aircraft
- Partner with teammates when not servicing customers
- Thank customers and promote repeat business
- Champion best practices to provide excellent customer service
- Assume additional responsibilities to support evolving business objectives
