Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant supervision or management
  • strong leadership abilities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to maintain work schedules and timekeeping records
  • capacity to resolve conflicts and provide employee coaching
  • must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in restaurant supervision or management

Job Duties

  • Serve as an ambassador for Island View Casino and The Buffet restaurant
  • lead and support front-of-house restaurant staff to provide exceptional dining experiences
  • oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
  • monitor and adjust staffing levels based on business needs
  • maintain work schedules and timekeeping records for assigned staff
  • direct, train, and monitor staff performance to foster effective employee relations
  • ensure adherence to company policies and safety practices
  • provide guidance, issue resolution support, feedback, and coaching to staff
  • ensure teams have necessary information and resources to perform job responsibilities
