Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Business Management or related field required
  • minimum two years’ food and beverage experience in a high-volume venue required
  • valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits required
  • ability to obtain and maintain gaming license if required
  • current Food Handler’s Card required
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification required
  • ServSafe certification required
  • ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • ability to perform simple math
  • able to manage cash transactions accurately and securely
  • able to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strength to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
  • must present neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • willingness to travel for meetings and events

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Business Management or related field
  • minimum two years food and beverage experience in a high-volume venue with high-quality food and extensive beverage offering
  • minimum two years food and beverage supervisory experience preferred
  • knowledge of local, state, and federal alcohol regulations and San Manuel Gaming Commission regulations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • experience managing cash transactions accurately and securely
  • ability to provide friendly and efficient service
  • ability to work under pressure and in high-demand environments

Job Duties

  • Assist with day-to-day operation of beverage venues ensuring best-in-class service
  • oversee all cash management and cash registers ensuring proper practices
  • maintain professional customer service standards per departmental handbook
  • prioritize training of team members in beverage preparation, responsible alcohol service, inventory control, food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • administer performance management and disciplinary actions
  • ensure beverage orders are served efficiently in accordance with brand standards and regulations
  • determine materials, equipment, and facilities needed for efficient operations
  • ensure beverage inventory is purchased, received, rotated, stored, and issued correctly
  • manage and expedite beverage product flow
  • complete all inventory audits and logs including usage, spillage and complimentary
  • ensure cleanliness, organization, and preparedness of workspaces and adjacent areas
  • monitor sanitation to comply with policies and health standards
  • oversee preventative maintenance of beer systems and bar equipment
  • resolve employee complaints, grievances, and other personnel matters
  • notify superiors of internal or external problems
  • collaborate with venue leadership to develop initiatives to build sales, profitability, and cost control
  • communicate and execute department-wide fiscal and operational goals
  • perform other duties to support efficient department operation
