Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two to five years of experience in bar operations and personnel management
  • Valid Alcohol Beverage Control card
  • Applicable health certifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Two to five years' experience in bar operations and managing personnel with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates a positive, memorable guest experience
  • Commitment to exceed position responsibilities to support organizational goals
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with the development and managing of the budget for the beverage department
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers
  • Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Develop staff including interviews, hiring, and evaluations
  • Manage department financial data
  • Review beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager
  • Monitor and adjust performance against local competition
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
