Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and physical
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport and customs badges/seals
  • Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates customer relationship skills with all levels of employees
  • Solid problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience in flight operations handling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • A or B.S. from a four-year college or university or two to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
  • Ability to apply basic math skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and handle variables
  • Possess and maintain valid state Driver's License and required FAA/Airport identifications and seals

Job Duties

  • Directly supervise M&
  • O field personnel including daily assignments and schedules for a 24/7 operation
  • 24/7 availability to respond to critical airport maintenance and operational needs
  • Manage maintenance software database to ensure work orders and tasks are completed and closed in a timely manner
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to the same end
  • Work closely with the local Operations Manager and General Manager to research problems and communicate necessary information
  • Maintain facility and fuel system compliance with ATA Specification 103 inspections, quality control, maintenance, and repairs
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Maintain compliance with company policies
  • Respond to facility and hydrant issues to minimize any delays
  • Coordinate fuel deliveries
  • Control room operations
  • Train employees
  • Interview, hire, and manage employee performance
  • Direct others and give clear directions
  • Complete shift reports
  • Organize and disseminate accurate operational information
  • Conduct shift briefings
  • Ensure timely response to airlines and third-party fueling teams for equipment related issues and audits
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities within the fuel farm and hydrant system
  • Represent Menzies Aviation during audits
  • Work off hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Model ethical business behavior and integrity
  • Respond to and direct emergency and spill response activities
  • Troubleshoot pumps, valves, fittings, wiring, conduit, tank gauging equipment
  • Assure adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Report accidents and investigate prevention measures
  • Meet company attendance and conduct standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
