Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess necessary INS authorization
- Must treat information as confidential
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must adhere to company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some supervisory or management experience in shift work environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to deal tactfully with all levels of situations
- Must be able to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
- Able to resolve problem situations with employees and passengers
- Must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- Must be familiar with pertinent regulations (company, client, government agencies)
Job Duties
- Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
- Be familiar with all pertinent regulations
- Schedule personnel daily and furnish a copy to the Account Manager
- Obtain approval for overtime in advance
- Monitor employee activity and make adjustments
- Ensure employees follow regulations and procedures
- Check In/Out sheets for accurate time logging
- Deal courteously and tactfully with employees while maintaining confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with employees and client representatives
- Make recommendations regarding personnel performance
- Report safety hazards and equipment problems
- Report incidents and emergency situations immediately
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to clients and staff
- Give clear direction and provide feedback
- Attend meetings and in-services
- Maintain records, training files, and reports
- Utilize training materials to develop staff
- Adhere to dress code and display identification badges
- Follow company policies and participate in company objectives
- Use company and client resources cost-effectively
- Perform quality assurance service audits
- Ensure implementation of Safety Management System
- Implement safety plan for the station
- Maintain Quality Assurance oversight
- Participate actively in SMS
- Perform other duties as requested
