Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some supervisory or management experience in a shift work environment
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must be able to treat all information as confidential
  • Must possess tact in dealing with all levels of situations
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete criminal background check
  • Must be able to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or have necessary INS authorization
  • Must be able to resolve problem situations with employees and passengers when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some supervisory/management in shift work environment experience
  • Verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Ability to treat all information as confidential
  • Possess tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Ability to read, understand, direct and carry out instructions in English
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess necessary authorization from Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
  • Ability to resolve problem situations with employees and passengers when necessary

Job Duties

  • Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
  • Be familiar with all pertinent regulations (company/client/government agencies)
  • Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Account Manager
  • Obtain written approval for necessary use of overtime in advance
  • Monitor employee activity and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure employees follow all regulations/procedures
  • Check in/out sheets to ensure all employees have logged in times correctly
  • Deal fairly, courteously and tactfully with fellow employees while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with fellow employees and client representatives
  • Make recommendations to Account Manager regarding personnel performance
  • Act on and communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to Account Manager or General Manager
  • Report inquiries and all other incidents to Account Managers
  • Respond to inquiries from leads, employees, client, and passengers in timely, courteous and professional manner
  • Keep leads informed of needs and problems in assigned areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and public courteously
  • Give clear concise direction to leads, coordinators, warehouse, and crews while providing both positive and corrective feedback
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required
  • Maintain records, training files, reports and files as required
  • Utilize training materials and resources to develop a safe well trained staff
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
  • Utilize company and client equipment, supplies and resources conscientiously and cost effectively
  • Perform quality assurance service audits to conform to client's specifications and/or procedures
  • Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Implement safety plan for station
  • Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues related to performance and safety
  • Actively participate in Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Perform other duties as requested
