Job Requirements

  • Pass a background check and drug test
  • must be eligible for CBP seal and pass criminal background check to obtain airport ID
  • able to efficiently supervise teams of security agents
  • able to work varied days and hours with shift changes
  • capable of standing, walking, seating, driving and occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds
  • use company vehicle and standard office equipment
  • maintain ethical conduct
  • demonstrate teamwork orientation
  • possess stress management and composure skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years experience in customer service at airport or similar entities
  • proficiency in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • good communication skills
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • strong knowledge of management practices and principles
  • critical thinking skills
  • ability to maintain relationships with employees and clients

Job Duties

  • Plans and prepares the operation at least one day prior including wheelchair count, flight status, and personnel needed for all services
  • deliver plans and assignments to the team prior to start of operations
  • prepares and/or ensure the operation daily report is complete by the end of the day
  • ensure all employees follow security procedures for TSA, CBP and other airports
  • update Leads/Coordinators and personnel on any irregularities or changes to operations
  • weekly visits to airline management to ensure service standards
  • address any issues with personnel, operations, and clients
  • weekly control and inventory reports of equipment including wheelchairs
  • ensure personnel training is current
  • communicate any irregularities and operational requests to management
  • deliver end-of-shift report to management with a full recap of the operation
