Job Requirements

  • Must have or obtain a valid food handler's permit
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • may be required to lift 25-50 lbs
  • may be required to work in various weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain
  • must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others

Job Qualifications

  • Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler's permit
  • experience in food and beverage supervision or related hospitality roles
  • ability to train and develop team members
  • strong customer service skills
  • knowledge of health department regulations and food safety standards
  • effective communication and leadership skills
  • familiarity with POS systems and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Assign team members to their designated areas for each shift
  • ensure team members complete daily checklists and cleaning tasks
  • provide outstanding customer service and effectively resolve any guest concerns
  • collaborate with leads to ensure assigned areas operate hospitably, safely and efficiently
  • communicate guest or team member feedback in a timely and constructive manner
  • ensure team members receive breaks in accordance with applicable labor laws, and that breaks are documented properly
  • train team members to perform tasks safely and in accordance with Typhoon Texas policies and departmental procedures
