Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, and stretch
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- effective communication skills in English
- willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
- commitment to safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience in a supervisory role
- minimum two years supervisory experience
- knowledge of Joint Commission JCAHO inspections
- understanding of infectious waste management
- ability to use housekeeping tools such as mops and floor waxes
- strong oral and written communication skills
- ability to work positively with interdisciplinary teams
Job Duties
- Developing and supervising housekeeping departments
- maintaining compliance with facility and state requirements
- ensuring staff follows proper cleaning protocols
- coordinating with interdisciplinary and Quality Assurance teams
- managing scheduling including rotating weekends and holidays
- overseeing infectious waste procedures
- ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met
