Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in business management, hospitality management, food-related service, or related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in retail, food services, or dining operations
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards and point-of-sale procedures
  • Ability to train, motivate, and develop staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Serv-Safe and other applicable certifications required within 12 months of hire

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supports the day-to-day operations of a retail dining location
  • Ensures exceptional customer service and maintains food safety, cleanliness, and product quality
  • Leads and supervises student employees, including training and scheduling
  • Acts as liaison between students, staff, and dining management
  • Assists with inventory control, product ordering, and restocking
  • Manages point-of-sale transactions and daily financial reconciliation
  • Maintains cleanliness and adherence to sanitation guidelines
  • Resolves customer complaints professionally
  • Coordinates maintenance of retail-service equipment
  • Performs other assigned duties
