Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of culinary experience
  • one year in supervisory role preferred
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least one year in a lead cook or sous chef position
  • strong leadership skills
  • ability to maintain calm under pressure
  • effective communication skills
  • knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
  • ability to train and mentor kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly and back-of-house staff
  • assist in day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • ensure line cooks are trained and follow established recipes
  • maintain consistency of presentation and flavor
  • lead the kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
  • proactively handle and solve kitchen obstacles and issues
  • motivate and inspire a cohesive kitchen team
