Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven management experience in a culinary environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
  • authorized to work in the country
  • physical ability to handle kitchen environment demands

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least 5 years in senior management roles
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • expertise in kitchen operations and culinary production
  • knowledge of food cost control and budgeting
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to train and develop culinary staff
  • experience with Tex-Mex cuisine is a plus

Job Duties

  • lead and manage the entire culinary team
  • direct day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, special events, purchasing and receiving
  • ensure culinary staff efficiency and productivity
  • review and respond to daily guest feedback
  • oversee recipe execution and staff education
  • direct food production and plating during service
  • train and mentor line cooks
  • manage food cost percentages to meet or exceed budget
  • foster an educational environment for staff development
